Space shuttle lifts off
NATURAL SOUND ONLY - NO REPORTER TRACK Nov 16 - The U.S. space shuttle Atlantis blasted off from Florida carrying six astronauts on a mission to deliver spare parts to the International Space Station.
The Space Shuttle Atlantis roared off its launch pad at the Kennedy Space Center and settled safely into Earth's orbit about 8 1/2 minutes later, beginning an 11-day mission that includes three spacewalks to perform upgrades and maintenance on the International Space Station.
