Bush on bailout bill
After Congress passed the $700 billion bailout bill, President Bush said he will sign the bill into law when he receives it.
He thanked Members of Congress for their bipartisan efforts to get the legislation passed. Mr. Bush said, "By coming together on this legislation, we have acted boldly to help prevent the crisis on Wall Street from becoming a crisis in communities across our country."ROUGH CUT
