Oct. 11 - An Alaskan ethics inquiry says Sarah Palin abused her authority by pushing for the sacking of a state trooper.
The inquiry says the U.S. Republican vice-presidential contender pressured subordinates in her role as state governor to fire the state trooper who was involved in a bitter divorce battle with her sister.
