UBP in good shape, eyes deals
Oct. 13 - Switzerland's Union Bancaire Privee says it is emerging from the credit crunch and the turmoil in global financial markets in relatively good shape.
The Swiss private bank may potentially play a role in sector consolidation and could make acquisitions, Christophe Bernard, head of the UBP, told the 2008 Reuters Global Wealth Management Summit in Geneva on Monday.
