CEZ eyes Turkey deals

Oct. 21 - Czech power producer CEZ says the availabilty of credit to smaller players in the market is opening new opportunities for acquisitions in Turkey.

Alan Svoboda, speaking at the 2008 Reuters Central European Investment Summit in Vienna on Tuesday, said that the pipeline is getting full with new opportunities as a result of this tightening of the credit markets.

CEZ could make large scale investments within a year in Turkey, said Chief Sales Officer, because of increasing demand for power in that market.Speaker: Alan Svoboda, Chief Sales Officer, CEZ
