Bush shoe throwing game sold on eBay

(02:18) Report

Dec 19 - An internet video game that allows users to try their hand at hitting U.S. President George Bush's head with a shoe has been sold on eBay.

The game was the brainchild of 24-year-old Alex Tew, who attracted global media attention in 2005 with milliondollarhomepage.com.

The sale of his latest creation Sock And Awe was sparked after it went viral, attracting millions of hits threatening to bring down the servers of Tew's latest start up company.

Reuters Technology Correspondent Matt Cowan reports.
