Rourke at UK premiere for "Wrestler"
Jan 6 - Mickey Rourke is arguably Hollywood's king of second chances.
After being away from the big screen for several years, Rourke is once again garnering praise for his acting ability in "The Wrestler".
The Oscar buzz surrounding the film sees Rourke as a likely contender for an Academy Award nomination.
At the UK premiere in London, the actor remains humble as he discusses the challenges of making the film.
(SOUNDBITE) (English) MICKEY ROURKE:
"It was a physically and emotionally brutal shoot. I was looking forward to the day that it ended much more than I was looking forward to the day it began. I mean (director) Darren (Aronofsky) is very demanding and I respect him so much I gave him everything I had and he took it."
