Istanbul bombers jailed
Feb. 17 - Seven people convicted of involvement in a wave of bombings in 2003 are sentenced to life behind bars by a Turkish court.
Dozens of others among the 74 defendants on trial received lighter sentences for the part in the deadly suicide bombings of Jewish and British targets while 30 were acquitted.
