Odfjell Drilling Ltd:Odfjell Drilling has today taken delivery of Deepsea Aberdeen from Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) in Korea.Deepsea Aberdeen will now start on its voyage to West of Shetland for its 7-year contract with BP.Commencement of drilling operations is expected to take place in second half of Q1 2015.

Prospector Offshore Drilling SA:Says expects that one of its subsidiaries will take delivery of PROSPECTOR 5, from the Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Co. Ltd (SWS) Shipyard in Shanghai, China, on June 16.PROSPECTOR 5 is the second in the company's series of five high specification, harsh environment jack-up drilling rigs built to the Friede and Goldman JU2000E design.Upon delivery the rig will be mobilized to the UK sector of the North Sea where it is expected to begin its contracted work for Total E&P UK Limited and Elf Exploration UK Limited in September.

Sevan Drilling ASA Takes Delivery of Sevan Louisiana

Sevan Drilling ASA announced that on October 23, 2013 the Company took delivery of Sevan Louisiana from Cosco Quidong Shipyard (Cosco) in China. Sevan Louisiana is Sevan Drilling's third deep water drilling rig and will start the transit to the US Gulf of Mexico. It is expected that the rig will commence operation for LLOG Bluewater towards the end of Q1 2014, following completion of mobilization and certain additional equipment installations.

Ocean Rig UDW Inc Announces Delivery of Rig Mylos and Order of Additional Seventh Generation Ultra Deepwater Drillship; Updates on New Contracts

Ocean Rig UDW Inc announced that on August 20, 2013, the Company took delivery of its newbuilding drillship the Ocean Rig Mylos. The Ocean Rig Mylos is the first in the series of three Seventh Generation Ultra Deepwater Drillships the Company expects to take delivery in 2013. The drillship is mobilizing to offshore Brazil and is expected to commence drilling operations under a three-year drilling contract with Repsol Sinopec Brasil S.A. by November 2013. The Company also communicated that it has signed a contract to construct a seventh generation ultra deepwater drillship at Samsung Heavy Industries. This Seventh Generation drillship is a sister ship to the three (Ocean Rig Skyros, Ocean Rig Athena, Ocean Rig Apollo) drillships that are being under construction at Samsung, and is scheduled to be delivered to the Company in December 2015. The project value price is estimated to be approximately USD 600 million. Additionally, the Company announced that Lukoil exercised its options for an additional two-well program under the previously announced Contract Award for the Company's semi-submersible drilling rig Eirik Raude. The revised drilling contract is for a firm six-well program and the rig is expected to be available for employment the earliest by December 2014.

Prospector Offshore Drilling SA Announces Extension of Expiry Dates on Two Rig Construction Option Agreements; Company's CFO Steven A. Manz Resigns

Prospector Offshore Drilling SA announced that it has reached an agreement with Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Offshore Co., Ltd. (DSIC Offshore) to extend the expiry dates on two of its rig construction option agreements that were previously due to expire on March 31, 2013. These rig construction option agreements (New Option Agreement No. One and New Option Agreement No. Two), which were entered into on April 2, 2011, will now expire on June 30, 2013. The Company's other outstanding rig construction option agreement with DSIC Offshore (Option Agreement No. 3), which was entered into on June 19, 2010, has expired. In addition, the Company announced that Chief Financial Officer, Steven A. Manz resigned from the Company effective April 9, 2013. Mr. Manz joined the Company as one of the co-founders in 2010.

Songa Offshore SE Announces Work at Songa Trym Completed

Songa Offshore SE announced that Songa Trym has now received its AOC diploma and additional work and client acceptance testing of Songa Trym is now completed. As of February 18, 2013, Songa Trym will be on stand-by rate while Statoil undertakes planned upgrade of the mud system. The rig will thereafter enter into its three-plus-two-year contract with Statoil under direct Songa Offshore management. Further information about the total cost for the yard stay, still expected to be in the range previously reported, will be provided in connection with the fourth quarter 2012 results presentation.

Parker Drilling Co Commences Drilling Operations With First of Two Arctic Alaska Drilling Units

Parker Drilling Co announced that it has commenced drilling operations with Rig 273, the first of two Arctic Alaska Drilling Unit (AADU) rigs the Company has developed to safely and efficiently perform in environmentally sensitive, harsh arctic environments. Rig 273 initiated operations earlier in December first week under the terms of the Company's five-year contract with BP.
