TJX Companies:Signed a definitive agreement to purchase Trade Secret, an off-price retailer that operates 35 stores in Australia, from Gazal Corporation Limited for a purchase price of A$80 million.The potential acquisition of Trade Secret provides TJX an opportunistic entry into Australia, where TJX currently operates one of its 13 buying offices.TJX expects the transaction, which has customary conditions to closing, to be consummated by the end of calendar 2015.

Anchor Equity Partners, KKR and Management to Acquire a Controlling Stake in Groupon Inc's Ticket Monster
Groupon Inc:Says Anchor Equity Partners and global investment firm KKR have signed a definitive agreement to acquire a controlling stake in South Korean mobile commerce company Ticket Monster Inc (TMON) from Groupon.Transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of 2015.
Kenkou Corp Inc:Says Dream Vision completed issuance of 3,900,000 shares at 192 yen per share (748,800,000 yen in total) through private placement to Kenkou Corp, on March 31.Says under capital and business alliances between Kenkou Corp and Dream Vision plan disclosed on Feb. 12 that Kenkou Corp became parent company of Dream Vision.
Grupo Gigante SAB de CV:Acquires for $31.8 mln via its subsidiary Office Depot de Mexico, SA de CV 100 pct of shares of RadioShack de Mexico SA de CV, Retail Answers SA de CV and Logistic Answers SA de CV.Acquisition covers all brands, commercial names and property rights related to RadioShack operations in Mexico.Amount of $20 mln was directed at paying liabilities of Radio Shack de Mexico.Transaction covers 251 shops.
Fred's Inc:Signs an agreement to acquire Reeves-Sain Drug Store, Inc.Acquisition includes both EntrustRx, a specialty pharmacy operation that has a strong regional presence in the Southeast serviced from facilities in Spring Hill, Tennessee and Columbus, Mississippi, as well as the single Reeves-Sain retail pharmacy in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.Under the terms, Fred's will acquire EntrustRx and the Reeves-Sain retail pharmacy for about $66 mln, comprising $53 mln in cash and a $13 mln note payable.Fred's, Inc. was represented in the transaction by Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, P.C., with pharmacy regulatory counsel provided by Bass, Berry & Sims PLC.Reeves-Sain Drug Store, Inc. was represented in the transaction by Adams and Reese LLP.
