Aker Solutions ASA:Receives contract worth more than $300 mln from Petrobras.To supply eight manifolds that alternately inject water and gas to increase oil recovery from Brazil's deepwater offshore fields.Contract will be executed by Aker Solutions' Brazilian subsea division.About 70 percent of the contract with Petrobras will be procured and manufactured in Brazil.

Saipem SpA receives 200 million euros contract for expansion of Versalis plant in Italy

Saipem SpA:Says it has been awarded an E&C onshore engineering, procurement and construction contract for the expansion of the Versalis plant in Ferrara, Italy, worth about 200 million euros.The project encompasses the construction of a fourth production line to operate alongside the three existing lines, in addition to increasing their production capacity and upgrading the plant's auxiliary systems.The project will enable the Ferrara site’s production capacity of EP[D]M (Ethylene Propylene [Diene] Monomer) rubber to be increased up to 130 thousand tons per year.Saipem will take charge of the project management, detailed engineering, the supply of materials and components, construction, installation and of the pre-commissioning activities.The expansion works will be completed by the second quarter of 2016.

Multiclient Geophysical ASA:Says it will conduct a Super High-Resolution multi-client 2D MC2D) seismic survey in the Hoop area, Barents Sea.Survey will provide oil companies with information for prospect evaluations of shallow Jurassic and Triassic prospects.Super High-Resolution survey is about 5,600 kilometers, and covers most of the blocks included in the public hearing for the 23rd licensing round in the Hoop area.Project will be conducted in cooperation with Exploro AS.MCG has contracted Gardline Geosurvey to perform the survey, which is expected to commence in May and last for about two months.

CGG SA:Starts acquiring BroadSeisTM/BroadSourceTM 3D multi-client survey in Northern North Sea offshore Norway.Extending from Horda platform in southeast to Sogn Graben in north, this 19,000-square kilometers survey program includes entire quadrant 35 and parts of quadrant 31, 32 and 36 and covers more than 80 production licenses such as Troll, Brage, Fram and Gjoa.Survey is being acquired by Viking Vanquish, and second vessel is to join later in season.Acquisition program is to continue in 2015.Survey received prefunding from industry with early participants having option to recommend priority areas and being invited to monitor data processing to be conducted in company's Oslo subsurface imaging center.Survey program's main objective is to provide uniform dataset with increased seismic resolution, offering platform to improve industry understanding of regional geology.
