Magnit OAO Announces Opening Of Hypermarket
Magnit OAO announced the opening of the 138th hypermarket of a small format. The Company has opened 138th hypermarket of a small format located at 24/20 Kukunina street, Novomoskovsk, Tula region, Central federal district. Assortment of the hypermarket consists of more than 4,200 SKUs, out of which about 90% are food items. There are 19 cash desks installed in the sales area. The outlet is owned by the Company. The hypermarket is open seven days a week from 9 am to 10 pm.
Axfood AB Inaugurates New Cold Storage Warehouse in Backa
Axfood AB announced that the Company inaugurates a new Dagab's cold storage warehouse in Backa, Gothenborg. The 6,500 square meters facility will supply frozen and refrigerated products to Willys, Hemkop and Tempo stores in southern and western Sweden. The warehouse will be powered by 407 solar cells.
WM Morrison Supermarkets PLC To Launch Online Food Operation Through Distribution Agreement With Ocado Group Plc
WM Morrison Supermarkets PLC announced that it has signed a long term agreement with Ocado Group Plc, which will enable Morrisons.com to commence grocery deliveries to customers by January 2014. The agreement will enable the Company to enter the online grocery market.
