WM Morrison Supermarkets PLC To Launch Online Food Operation Through Distribution Agreement With Ocado Group Plc
WM Morrison Supermarkets PLC announced that it has signed a long term agreement with Ocado Group Plc, which will enable Morrisons.com to commence grocery deliveries to customers by January 2014. The agreement will enable the Company to enter the online grocery market.
Kesko Oyj Opens Second Store in St. Petersburg, Russia-DJ
Dow Jones reported that on May 16, 2013 Kesko Oyj opened its second food store in the St. Petersburg area in Russia. In addition to the two existing stores, Kesko Food aims to open another two new large food stores in the St. Petersburg area by the end of 2013 and then continue expansion in the St. Petersburg area and subsequently also in the Moscow area. The first K-ruoka store in St. Petersburg opened in the Primorsk district on December 5, 2012.
KOBE BUSSAN CO LTD to Set up New Subsidiary
KOBE BUSSAN CO LTD announced that it has decided to set up a wholly owned subsidiary, which will be engaged in manufacturing and sales of noodles, on May 16, 2013.
