Grindeks AS Opens Representative Office in Armenia
Grindeks AS announced that it is expanding its presence in the Commonwealth of Independent States countries and is opening a new representative office in Armenia. The representative office will cooperate with the national medicines authorities, wholesale and retail companies of pharmaceutical and medical products of Armenia, as well as will provide Grindeks AS medication registration and promotion. Grindeks AS began its activities in Armenia several years ago. The most demanded products of Grindeks AS in Armenia are Mildronate, Apilak-Grindeks, Karvidil, and Oxytocin-Grindeks.
Sanofi SA Inaugurates Lantus SoloSTAR Pen Assembly Plant in its Beijing Facility
Sanofi SA announced the inauguration of a new assembling and packaging line to produce its flagship pre-filled insulin injection pen Lantus SoloSTAR at its Beijing plant located at the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (BDA). Presiding over the inauguration ceremony, Christopher A. Viehbacher, Chief Executive Officer of Sanofi, announced the second phase of the USD 90 million project to install a high-tech cartridge aseptic production line. With a designed capacity of 48 million units per year, the facility is expected to help fulfill the needs of people with diabetes and ultimately improve the standard of diabetes care in China.
Zhejiang Medicine Co., Ltd. to Set up Subsidiary
Zhejiang Medicine Co., Ltd. announced that it will invest RMB 158 million to set up a wholly owned subsidiary in Hangzhou City. The subsidiary will be engaged in the wholesale of medicine and medical equipment.
