Kemira Oyj To Acquire 3F Chimica S.p.A
Kemira Oyj announced that it has signed an agreement to acquire 3F Chimica S.p.A. (3F), a privately owned company, headquartered in Sandrigo, Italy, excluding a certain part of their assets in the US, for EUR85 million. The acquisition is expected in the fourth quarter of 2013.

Mitsubishi Chemical Holdings Corp announced that it has completed the acquisition of shares in Qualicaps Co., Ltd., which was disclosed on December 25, 2013, for JPY 55,800 million from Carlyle Group on March 1, 2013.

Hokkoku Shimbun reported that Mitsubishi Chemical Holdings Corp announced that its subsidiary Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation will fully acquire MRC POLYSACCHARIDE Co., Ltd., which is engaged in manufacture and sale of food additives (polysaccharide thickener) in Toyama, Japan, effective April 1, 2013. The transaction price is not disclosed.
