Klaipedos Nafta AB Concludes Contract for Natural Gas Pipeline System Engineering, Procurement and Construction Works

Klaipedos Nafta AB (KN) announced that it has concluded the contract for natural gas pipeline system engineering, procurement and construction works with German concern PPS Pipeline Systems GmbH, the winner of the procurement of engineering and construction works for natural gas pipeline system. Under the contract of the natural gas pipeline system engineering, procurement and construction works, necessary in constructing the connection between the liquefied natural gas terminal’s jetty within the water area of the Klaipeda State Sea Port, near the northern part of the Kiaules Nugara island, and the Lithuanian natural gas transportation system, gas pipeline Jurbarkas-Klaipeda, section Taurage-Klaipeda, near Klaipeda DSS-2, gas distribution station, by Kiskenu village, Dovilu sub-district, Klaipeda district municipality, will be executed. The total fixed price for all works shall be LTL 94,840,000, value-added tax excluded, and LTL 114,756,400, value-added tax included. The rate of the value-added tax on the day of the conclusion of the contract equals 21%. All the works under the contract shall be finished until August 1, 2014. The contract shall enter into force upon the approval of the General Meeting of Shareholders of KN, as provided for in Article 16.10 of the Articles of Association of KN. On April 22, 2013, the Board of KN approved the conclusion of the contract.

Klaipedos Nafta AB Announces PPS Pipeline Systems GmbH as Winner of Procurement of Engineering and Construction Works for Natural Gas Pipeline System

Klaipedos Nafta AB (KN) announced that it has decided to amend the decisions adopted by KN’s Board on December 21, 2012 on conclusion of the contract with the winner of the public Procurement of Engineering and Construction Works for Natural Gas Pipeline System, the consortium of AB Kauno Dujotiekio Statyba and UAB Siauliu Dujotiekio Statyba. The Board decisions were amended, new tender offers were submitted and the results of the procurement changed, and PPS Pipeline Systems GmbH was recognized to be the winner, and the earlier decisions of the Board could no longer be implemented. KN has decided to conclude a contract with PPS Pipeline Systems GmbH. The total fixed price for all the works under the contract will be LTL 94,840,000, value-added tax excluded, and LTL 114,756,400, value-added tax included. All the works under the contract must be finished until August 1, 2014.

Klaipedos Nafta AB Concludes Contract for Engineering and Construction Works of Port Infrastructure with Supra-Structure

Klaipedos Nafta AB announced that it has concluded the contract for engineering and construction works of port infrastructure with supra-structure with the winner of the international tender on procurement of engineering and construction works of port infrastructure with supra-structure equipment of liquefied natural gas terminal, with Akciju sabiedriba BMGS, regarding the engineering and construction works of port infrastructure with supra-structure of liquefied natural gas terminal. The total fixed price for all the works under the contract shall not exceed EUR 27,190,000 without value-added tax (LTL 93,881,632 without value-added tax). This fixed price can increase only in the exclusive cases provided for in the contract. Klaipedos Nafta AB shall be paying the indicated fixed sum only for the actual works performed under the contract. All the works under the contract shall be finished until October 1, 2014. The performance terms may only be extended in the exclusive cases set forth in the contract. The agreement shall enter into force upon the approval of the General Shareholder Meeting of Klaipedos Nafta AB, as provided for in article 16.10 of the Articles of Association of Klaipedos Nafta AB.

Klaipedos Nafta AB Receives Final Tender Offers from Suppliers for Natural Gas Pipeline System Engineering, Procurement and Construction Works

Klaipedos Nafta AB announced that on March 6, 2012, it has received two final tender offers in the international tender for procurement of engineering, procurement and construction works for natural gas pipeline system. Following the evaluation of final tender offers under criterion of most economically advantageous tender, the winner shall be announced and invited to conclude a public procurement contract with Klaipedos Nafta AB, which shall be signed after laps of mandatory standstill period of 15 days. The envisaged contract between Klaipedos Nafta AB and the selected supplier for procurement of the natural gas pipeline system engineering, procurement and construction works will enter into full force upon approval of necessary governing bodies of Klaipedos Nafta AB.

Klaipedos Nafta AB Selects Supplier for Engineering and Construction Works of Liquefied Natural Gas Terminal

Klaipedos Nafta AB (KN) announced that the winner of the international tender of KN’s Procurement of Engineering and Construction Works of Port Infrastructure (Jetty) with Supra-structure (Equipment) of Liquefied Natural Gas Terminal was selected AS BMGS. During the implementation of the tender of KN’s Procurement of Engineering and Construction Works of Port Infrastructure (Jetty) with Supra-structure (Equipment) of Liquefied Natural Gas Terminal three final tender offers were submitted by February 18, 2013. Upon evaluation of the final tender offers according to the lowest price criterion, AS BMGS, which undertook to carry out all works for the total amount of EUR 27.19 million (LTL 93.88 million) excluding value-added tax, was recognized to be the winner. KN sent an invitation to AS BMGS to conclude a public procurement contract which must be signed after the period of deferment of 15 days which is applicable to the conclusion of the public procurement contract. In accordance with the bilateral agreement between KN and Klaipeda State Seaport Authority on the improvement and creation of Port Infrastructure / Supra-structure, part of the costs of the contract shall be reimbursed by Klaipeda State Seaport Authority. Klaipeda State Seaport Authority shall reimburse to KN the amount of EUR 14.20 million (LTL 49.02 million) excluding value-added tax. KN shall bear the costs for the amount of EUR 12.99 million (LTL 44.86 million) excluding value-added tax.

AK Transneft' OAO to Complete Zapolyarye-Purpe Pipeline Ahead of Schedule-Interfax

Interfax reported that AK Transneft' OAO (Transneft') plans to complete construction of the first phase of the Zapolyarye-Purpe oil pipeline ahead of schedule, Transneft President Mr. Nikolai Tokarev said. The completion date was originally scheduled for 2014, but early commissioning of new pipelines has become a Transneft hallmark. The entire pipeline project will be completed at the end of 2015 rather than in 2016, as originally scheduled. The first phase will see construction of a 129-kilometer pipeline, a central pipeline control facility in Novy Urengoi, infrastructure facilities in Korotchaevo and upgrading of the Purpe pump station. The second phase includes construction of a 207-km segment, pump station N2 and a tank farm with capacity for 200,000 cubic meters. The third phase involves construction of a 152-km pipeline and the N1 Zaployarye pump station, which will bring the Zapolyarye-Purpe pipeline up to design capacity of 45 million tons of oil a year. The project will cost an estimated RUB 120 billion. Transneft's investment program for 2013 earmarks RUB 73.5 billion for Zapolyarye-Purpe.

Petronet LNG Ltd To Set Up Third LNG terminal At Gangavaram Port In Vizag-Economic Times

Economic Times reported that Petronet LNG Ltd will set up a third LNG terminal, having initial capacity of five million tonne per annum, with an investment of INR4,500 crore (INR45 Billion) at Gangavaram Port here in Andhra Pradesh, a top company executive said.

AK Transneft' OAO Includes in Its Investment Program New Project to Build Oil Pipeline Kyumba-Tayshet-Interfax

Interfax reported that AK Transneft' OAO in October 2012 plans to adjust its investment program and to include to this program a new project to build oil pipeline Kyumba-Tayshet, which will allow to connect the field of Yurubcheno-Tokhomsk zone with ESPO. The project cost is estimated to be RUB 97 billion. Capacity of the future pipeline is expected to be 15 million tons, the length of 703 kilometers. Within this project will be build five pumping stations and a tank farm, with capacity of 168 thousand cubic meters. The investment program of AK Transneft' OAO in 2012 is planned in the amount of RUB 107.6 billion.
