Independent Petroleum Group SAKC Subsidiary Signs Contract with STX Offshore & Shipbuilding Co. Ltd to Build Two Tankers
Independent Petroleum Group SAKC announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, D&K Holdings LLC, has signed a contract with Korea-based STX Offshore & Shipbuilding Co. Ltd to build two tankers for petroleum and petrochemical products (MR Tankers), with a capacity of 50 thousand tons per tank. The first tanker will be delivered to D&K Holdings LLC in the first quarter of 2015 while the second will be delivered in third quarter of 2015. D&K Holdings LLC has agreed with a global lender to finance the two tankers whose cost amounts to USD 70 million.

Lpa Group PLC announced that LPA Excil Electronics Ltd, the Yorkshire based wholly owned subsidiary, has been awarded Exclusive Preferred Bidder Status by Hitachi for the supply of lighting for the Inter City Express Programme, under which trains will be supplied to run on the Great West Line and Great North East Line in the UK. The contract when awarded is expected to be worth in excess of GBP3 million. Initial deliveries will commence at the end of 2013, with major deliveries commencing in 2015.

The DG sets supply power to the Air conditioners, lighting in the coaches as well as hotel loads in the pantry power car of the train, Kirloskar Electric Company has been a preferred supplier of such special systems with track record and has supplied more than 200 numbers in the last 4 years.
