Foster Wheeler-Led JV awarded feed contract for Nafusah Onshore Oilfield Development in Libya

Foster Wheeler AG:Says subsidiary of its Global Engineering and Construction Group, in joint venture with Taknia Libya Engineering Company (Taknia).Says has been awarded front-end engineering design (FEED) contract by Nafusah Oil Operations B.V. Libyan Branch for an onshore oilfield development, known as the Area 47 Development Project in Libya.Area 47 (North Hamada Field) is located in the Hamada region, about 200 km south of Tripoli, in the Ghadames Basin.Foster Wheeler contract value was not disclosed and will be included in the company's second-quarter 2014 bookings.Planned development will consist of about 34 producing wells, including eleven existing wells and about 23 new wells, flow-lines and a common gathering trunk-line to transport the well fluids to the central gas oil separation facility for primary treatment.After separation, the oil and gas produced will be exported through new pipelines that will be connected into existing pipelines carrying products to the Mellitah delivery terminal, in northwest of Libya, on Mediterranean Sea, for export.Planned design capacity of gas oil separation facility is 50,000 barrels per day (BPD) of oil, 90 mln standard cubic feet per day of gas and associated water.

Sedgman Ltd's Thiess Sedgman projects JV wins A$64 mln contract for Fortescue's Solomon mine

Sedgman Ltd:Says that Thiess Sedgman Projects joint venture (TSP) has been awarded A$64 mln contract for design and construction of a 7.5m tonne per annum (ROM Feed) modular iron ore processing plant at Fortescue Metals Group Ltd's Solomon iron ore mine in Western Australia.Modular plant is an important element in Fortescue's vision of operating Solomon mine without need for a new wet plant at the Firetail OPF.Modular plant will be delivered by TSP, a project specific joint venture established by Sedgman and Thiess Pty Ltd.

TEE International Ltd's wholly owned subsidiaries secures S$57 million contracts

TEE International Ltd:Says that its wholly owned subsidiaries, PBT Engineering Pte Ltd and Trans Equatorial Engineering Pte Ltd, have secured a total of about S$57 million worth of engineering contracts in Singapore.These include an approximately S$42 million contract to carry out Civil and M&E works for Changi Airport Group (Singapore) Pte Ltd, as well as a number of engineering contracts in Singapore.Says including these new contracts, the company has an order book of about S$398 million for its engineering segment.
