United Parcel Service Inc increases presence in Brazil opening nine new facilities in Sao Paulo

United Parcel Service Inc:Expands plan in Brazil to increase territorial coverage, improve time in transit and quality in solutions it offers its customers.Expansion in state of São Paulo includes opening of nine new operating facilities, which will increase company's country-wide network by 78 percent to reach more than 200 cities.Nine operating locations will be strategically situated in the cities of São Carlos, Ribeirão Preto, Franca, Bauru, São José dos Campos, São José do Rio Preto, Botucatu, Araçatuba and Presidente Prudente, and are set to be completed by May 2015.Company will also increase size of its ground fleet to 115 vehicles, adding routes to Santos, São José dos Campos, Sorocaba, Marilia and Campinas, allowing UPS to extend its services by two additional hours to place and pick up orders.

Eimskipafelag Islands hf Introduces Changes in Its Sailing Schedule and Opens Office in Poland

Eimskipafelag Islands hf announced that the Company has made changes in its sailing schedule. Eimskipafelag introduces a new weekly coastal route in Iceland, connecting Iceland with the Faroe Islands, the United Kingdom (Scotland) and Mainland Europe. The Company’s vessels will have weekly calls in Reykjavik, Isafjordur, Akureyri and Reydarfjordur. The vessel Bruarfoss will depart from Reykjavik on her first weekly schedule on March 14, 2013. Apart from this, the Company announced increased frequency and shorter transit time to and from the United States; services twice a week for fresh fish from Iceland and the Faroe Islands, and increased services for the oil industry with direct sailings to and from Scotland. Eimskipafelag also communicated that there will be a direct connection to the Baltic with a port call in Poland. Earlier in March 2013, the Company opened an office in Gdynia in Poland as part of these changes.

PostNL NV announced that has introduced the parcel locker in Almere. This new service provides a solution for consumers who are not at home during the day. With the parcel locker, they can collect or send parcels, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Over the next three months, the Company will be trialling the locker box in Almere. The locker boxes are located in three test locations.

Ramba Energy Ltd Commences Exploration Drilling At Lemang Block

Ramba Energy Ltd announced that with reference to the previous announcements released on December 27, 2011 and October 11, 2012 with respect to its interest in the Lemang block located in South Sumatra, Indonesia, the Company announced that it has commenced drilling of the Selong-1 exploration well, with spud in occurring on October 29, 2012. The Selong-1 well is located in the Lemang block’s Akatara prospect, and has a true vertical depth of 6,350 feet. The Selong-1 well is targeting the Intra Gumai Sand Formation, Upper Talangakar Formation, Lower Talangakar Formation and the Crystalline Basement. The Company expects drilling operations to take approximately 20 days, with possibly an additional 20 days for testing and analysis.

Panalpina WeltTransport Holding AG announced that it has launched three consolidated container services from Asia to Europe. Operated by Pantainer Express Line, the weekly connections are from Singapore to Prague, from Singapore to Budapest and from Shanghai to Graz. The emission of carbon dioxide will be lowered by up to 33%.
