May 23 (Reuters) - Total SA :Total, through its subsidiary Total Solar, launches construction of 25 megawatt solar plant in Miyako, Japan..Says expected to start up production in 2018 and will supply electricity to over 8,000 homes..Total says the plant will be connected to the electricity distribution grid to supply energy through the regional utility company. .

Statoil extends contract with Fred. Olsen Energy worth $17 mln

May 19 (Reuters) - Fred Olsen Energy Asa :Statoil <<>> has exercised the option for an additional well with Dolphin Drilling AS, a subsidiary of Fred. Olsen Energy ASA, for use of the semi-submersible drilling unit Bideford Dolphin.The well will be in direct continuation with the upcoming well, which is estimated to be commenced late May. .The contract value for the extension is approximately USD 17.2 million for an estimated drilling campaign of 100 days .

Rosneft to supply 250,000 T of oil and diesel to Cuba, expand coop with Turkey

May 3 (Reuters) - Russia's Rosneft says::Signed an agreement with Cubametales in March to supply around 250,000 tonnes of crude oil and diesel as part of an inter-government deal between Russia and Cuba.Will expand cooperation with Turkish partners, agreements for the supply of oil products in 2018-2020 between Rosneft and Demiroren Group Companies, Rosneft and BA Gas Enerji Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. were signed in March.The new agreements provide the foundation for signing legally binding contracts for the oil products supply by 2020 of up to 4.6 million tonnes to Demiroren Group Companies and up to 6 million tonnes to BA Gas Enerji Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. annually..

Prosafe wins $51-53 mln contract with Statoil at Sverdrup

April 26 (Reuters) - Prosafe Se :Statoil has awarded Prosafe a contract for the provision of the Safe Zephyrus semi-submersible accommodation vessel for Phase 1 of the Johan Sverdrup hook-up and commissioning project in the Norwegian sector of the North Sea.Contract duration will be one of three scenarios available to Statoil for nomination in early august 2017; either a 12 month firm period from late Q2 2018, or a 12 month firm period from late Q3 2018 with 4 months of options, or lastly 5 months firm from late Q2 2018 plus 6 months of options and 4 months firm from Q2 2019 plus 4 months of options.Value of contract firm period will be between musd 51 and musd 53 including fuel, mobilisation and demobilisation depending on scenario nominated.Revenue generated from provision of catering services is in excess of total value.

DOF: Pipelay vessel Skandi Búzios starts 8 year Petrobras contract as scheduled

April 19 (Reuters) - Dof Asa ::DOF Subsea<<>> and Technipfmc<<>>: Skandi Búzios, a pipelay support vessel (plsv) owned by DOF subsea (50 pct) and Technipfmc<<>> (50 pct), commenced its 8-year charter contract with Petrobras, as scheduled on April 13th.Mons S. Aase, DOF Subsea's Chief Executive Officer, says: "This milestone project is the result of our long- term focus on the Brazilian market. We are proud of this significant addition to our Brazilian fleet.".
