Statoil ASA:Statoil has awarded the contract for ISO (insulation, scaffolding and surface treatment) maintenance services at Sture and Kollnes to Prezioso Linjebygg AS.The contract has a value of NOK 1.1 billion over the 10-year contract period.Maintenance contracts for all of the company's facilities are being reviewed and included in the ongoing ISO re-negotiation process.
Statoil ASA:Has decided to cancel contract with Maersk MAERSKb.CO Gallant rig.The Maersk rig has been on contract with Statoil for two years, since 21 August 2014, and since Oct. 9 it has been sub-chartered to ConocoPhillips COP.N..Between Feb. 14 and Aug. 21 2016 Maersk Gallant is on a new contract with Total TOTF.PA, who will pay cancellation fee according to former contract.
Statoil ASA:Statoil has agreed with OMV OMVV.VI to acquire a 30 pct working interest in Petroleum Exploration Permit (pep) 57073 in New Zealand.Statoil asa says transaction is subject to regulatory approval..Statoil says this will further strengthen statoil's position in New Zealand.The permit covers an area of 9,800 square kilometres in the East Coast Basin, and sits in water depths of 1,000-2,000 metres. OMV will remain the operator with 70% working interest.OMV and Statoil will work together on the exploration programme in PEP 57073.This includes geological and geophysical studies, as well as seismic acquisition over the coming years.The work will provide information necessary to decide, in 2021, if a well commitment should be made in the permit.The permit is adjacent to permits 57083, 57085 and 57087 which were awarded to Chevron and Statoil in 2014..
Technip:Awarded by Statoil two contracts for the manufacturing and installation for Johan Sverdrup and Oseberg Vestflanken.Commissioning of the first development phase is scheduled for 2019.
