NK Lukoil OAO signs contract for procurement and construction of Kandym gas processing plant

NK Lukoil OAO:LUKOIL and a consortium headed by Hyundai Engineering (South Korea) signed a contract for procurement and construction of the Kandym Gas Processing Plant in Uzbekistan.The facility will have an annual capacity of 8.1 billion cubic meters of gas and will process sour natural gas from the Kandym group of fields located in the Bukhara Region of Uzbekistan to produce treated natural gas and stable gas condensate, as well as solid and granulated sulfur.Hyundai Engineering will prepare the project feasibility study and detailed design.LUKOIL has been implementing the Kandym project in partnership with the National Holding Company Uzbekneftegaz since 2004 as part of the Kandym-Khauzak-Shady-Kungrad PSA.The Kandym group consists of 6 gas condensate fields – Kandym, Kuvachi-Alat, Akkum, Parsankul, Khoji and West Khoji.

Gazprom OAO eyes first gas via new route to Turkey by 2017-Reuters

Gazprom OAO:Plans to supply the first gas via a new route to Turkey in Dec. 2016, Chief Executive Alexei Miller said in a statement on Jan. 27-Reuters.Gazprom said last year it would build a new pipeline to Turkey with a capacity of 63 billion cubic metres (bcm) a year to bypass Ukraine.On Jan. 27, Alexei Miller said the new pipeline would consist of four lines of 15.75 bcm each, with the first one to supply Turkey only.Turkey is already receiving Russian gas via existing routes, importing 27.4 bcm last year.Alexei Miller added Russia and Turkey would sign an agreement on building the pipeline in the second quarter of 2015.Gazprom has still to reveal the estimated cost of the project.

Gazprom OAO:Decides to build a liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant on the Baltic Sea near the port of Ust-Luga.The plant will have an annual capacity of 10 million tonnes, with possibility of extension to up to 15 million tonnes.

NK Lukoil OAO:Lukoil has registered the firm LLC Lukoil-Nizhnevolzhskneft Kalmykia to implement investment projects in Kalmykia, the internal Russian republic's natural resources and environment minister, Nikolai Ochirov told Interfax-Interfax.He said the company was registered for tax purposes on Oct. 28.Lukoil-Nizhnevolzhskneft Kalmykia will organize transportation of oil and gas from North Caspian fields.Lukoil is investing more than 11.1 billion Russian roubles in Kalmykia under this project, and more than 40 billion rubles together with the exploration work.

NK Rosneft' OAO begins construction of Suzun-Vankor oil pipeline-Interfax

NK Rosneft' OAO:Rosneft production subsidiary Vankorneft has begun building a 101-kilometer oil pipeline linking the Suzun and Vankor fields, Rosneft said in a press release-Interfax.Work in the 2014-2015 winter period will involve pile driving for pipeline supports and laying, installation and welding of the linear section.Launch of the pipeline will be synchronized with other elements of the first line at Suzun, including production and injection wells, an oil treatment unit with capacity for 5.2 million tons a year.The Vankor cluster consists of 23 license territories in Krasnoyarsk territory and Yamalo-Nenets autonomous district.The Suzun field contains over 56 million tons of oil and 35.3 billion cubic meters of gas, according to geological data as of Jan. 1.

Gazprom OAO registers firm to build new pipeline to Turkey-Interfax

Gazprom OAO:Gazprom is setting up a special purpose vehicle to build a new gas pipeline to Turkey, the company's spokesman, Sergei Kupriyanov, told Interfax-Interfax.The company, to be called Gazprom Russkaya after the pipeline's main compressor station, Russkaya, will be registered in St. Petersburg.The relevant procedures were launched on Dec. 8.

Gazprom OAO to build new gas pipeline towards Turkey

Gazprom OAO:Says that Gazprom and Botas Petroleum Pipeline Corporation signed memorandum of understanding on constructing an offshore gas pipeline across the Black Sea towards Turkey.The new gas pipeline will have a capacity of 63 billion cubic meters, with 14 billion cubic meters slated for Turkish consumers and nearly 50 billion cubic meters conveyed to the border between Turkey and Greece, where a delivery point will be arranged.The Russkaya compressor station being under construction in the Krasnodar Territory will serve as the pipeline starting point.
