International Consolidated Airlines Group SA’ Veloz Holdco SL Files Application For Authorization Of Delisting Tender Offer For Vueling Airlines SA’s Shares
Vueling Airlines SA (Vueling) announced that Veloz Holdco SL, Sociedad Unipersonal (Veloz Holdco), a company fully and directly controlled by International Consolidated Airlines Group SA (IAG), has filed with the National Securities Market Commission an application for authorization for the launch of a public tender offer for the shares of Vueling for its delisting from the Barcelona, Bilbao, Madrid and Valencia Stock Exchanges. The application was filed after the approval, by Vueling’s General Shareholders Meeting on June 27, 2013, of the delisting of Vueling’s shares and the launch of the Offer by Veloz Holdco.
PAL Holdings Inc Private Placement Lifts Public Ownership To 10%-DJ
Dow Jones reported that PAL Holdings Inc privately placed 2.42 billion new shares raising PHP2.42 billion ($55.8 million), it said on June 27, 2013. PAL Holdings didn't identify the buyers. The shares were sold at par of PHP1. PAL Holdings placed the shares to meet a June 30 minimum 10% public-ownership requirement. PAL Holdings' public ownership is now about 10.4%.
China Eastern Airlines Corp Ltd Announces Change Of Auditors
China Eastern Airlines Corp Ltd announced that Ernst & Young Huaming LLP (Ernst & Young Huaming) has been appointed as: the Company’s PRC domestic and international auditors for the year 2013; and (the Company’s auditors for internal control for the year 2013, both with effect from 26 June 2013 upon conclusion of the AGM. The Board would like to extend its sincere gratitude to PricewaterhouseCoopers Zhong Tian Certified Public Accountants Limited Company and PricewaterhouseCoopers Certified Public Accountants in Hong Kong for their quality services provided to the Company in previous years.
