Journey Group PLC Secures Contract From JetBlue Airways Corp
Journey Group PLC announced that new contract for its US Division with JetBlue Airways Corp. The contract, which is expected to commence in mid November 2012, is to provide in-flight beverage and snack services for an average of 30 flights per day out of Long Beach International Airport (LGB).
gategroup Holding AG's Brand Gate Gourmet Renews Contracts with United Airlines
gategroup Holding AG announced that it has signed contracts totaling more than CHF 430 million in revenue over the three-year life of the agreements with United Airlines (United). This award was part of a tender that covered the majority of United's contracts with gategroup brand Gate Gourmet. Gate Gourmet renewed more than 90% of its contracted revenue on tender. The contracts include extensions in catering and provisioning service at three of United's core connecting hubs at Chicago O'Hare, San Francisco and Washington Dulles, as well as additional volumes in San Francisco and Washington Dulles. In addition to the three hub locations, Gate Gourmet will continue to provide services to United in the spoke cities for which tenders were held: Columbus, Jacksonville, New Orleans, and San Antonio. The agreements take effect on January 1, 2013, and run through December 2015.
Journey Group PLC Announces Award Of Former Continental Flights Traffic Out Of Los Angeles International Airport
Journey Group PLC announced that, following the merger of United Airlines and Continental, Air Fayre CA Inc (the Company's 'US Division') has been awarded the former Continental Airlines traffic out of Los Angeles International Airport. The US Division will provide in-flight catering services for these flights through its patented Air Fayre model out of its current Los Angeles facility. These additional flights, which are expected to commence in early November 2012, will bring the average number of United Airlines flights up to approaching 100 flights per day with 115 flights a day in high season and 90 flights a day in low season.
Grupo Aeroportuario del Sureste SAB de CV Announces Further Details On Its Affiliate Contract To Operate Airport in Puerto Rico
Grupo Aeroportuario del Sureste SAB de CV (Asur) announced that in relation to the previous announcement from July 19, 2012 its affiliate Aerostar Airport Holdings (Aerostar) has signed a contract with the Ports Authorities of Puerto Rico (Autoridad de Puertos de Puerto Rico, PRPA) to operate the international airport, namely Luis Munoz Marin in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The contract has a maturity period of 40 years and an initial payment of USD 615 million. In addition, according to the contract, Aerostar will pay to PRPA the amount of USD 2.5 million annually during first five years of the contract’s validity, 5% of annual earnings as of sixth until 30th year of the contract’s validity and 10% of annual earnings after 31st until 40th year of the contract’s validity. The payments are expected to be funded by a debt of Aerostar and capital contributions of ASUR (through its subsidiary Cancun Airport) and Highstar Capital IV.

Grupo Aeroportuario del Sureste SAB de CV (Asur) announced that Public-Private Association Committee of Puerto Rico has awarded its affiliate Aerostar Airport Holdings a contract to operate International Airport, namely Luis Munoz Marin in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Further details were not disclosed.
SIA Engineering Co Ltd Secures SGD166 Million Cebu Air Contract
SIA Engineering Co Ltd (SIAEC) announced the signing of a new agreement with Cebu Air, Inc., covering both its present and new fleet of A320 series aircraft to be delivered over the next five years. With this latest signing, the total revenue of SIAEC Group contracts with Cebu Air will grow to SGD236 million. Under the agreement, SIAEC will provide Cebu Air with a wide range of fleet management and maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services, which will be performed in Singapore and at SIAEC's facilities in the Philippines. The five-year contract covers the rapidly growing fleet of Cebu Air, which will see its current fleet of 30 A320/A319 aircraft growing to a fleet of 48 aircraft, to be delivered progressively over the next five years.
Pteris Global Ltd Secures Baggage Handling Contract For Charlotte Douglas International Airport
Pteris Global Ltd announced that the City Council of Charlotte, North Carolina (United States) has awarded the contract for the construction of the baggage handling and screening system for Charlotte Douglas International Airport to Pteris Global. The contract award to Pteris Global was announced at the Charlotte City Council Meeting held on June 25, 2012. The contract is worth approximately SGD30 million and the project is expected to be completed by 2014.
