SIX reported that Electrolux AB has acquired the property in Stockholm, Sweden, where its headquarters is located. The purchase price is SEK 1,045 million. The acquisition is effective as of February 1, 2013.

NORITZ CORP announced that it has decided to acquire 7,150,000 shares ( a 55% stake ) of Sakura(Cayman)Co.,Ltd., which engages in the holding of shares of another company, from Brightcord Investment Ltd. for JPY 8,008 million in total, effective late August 2013.
American Capital Ltd Receives $60 Million From The Sale Of Lifoam Holdings To Jarden Corp
American Capital Ltd announced that its portfolio company Lifoam Holdings, Inc. (Lifoam) was sold to Jarden Corp (Jarden) on December 31, 2012. American Capital received $60 million in debt and equity proceeds and realized a gain of $14 million, subject to post-closing adjustments. American Capital's compounded annual rate of return earned on its debt and equity securities over the life of its investment .Lifoam is a manufacturer and distributor of expandable polystyrene ("EPS") and polyurethane ("PUR") products for consumer, healthcare and commercial applications. Lifoam's products include foam picnic coolers, reusable ice and freeze packs and sophisticated protective and thermal packaging products.
Indesit Company SpA Acquires Hotpoint Brand Ownership Outside Europe
Indesit Company SpA announced that it has entered into an agreement with General Electric Appliances on January 10, 2013 under which the Fabriano Group acquires the ownership of the Hotpoint brand outside of Europe. General Electric Appliances retains ownership of the brand in North and South America. Indesit Company has owned the Hotpoint brand in Europe since its acquisition of UK-based GDA in 2002. The cost of the operation is USD 4 million, to be paid over a number of years. In the deal, Indesit Company was assisted by the New York-based law firm Reinhardt LLP.
Fiskars Oyj Abp Completes Acquisition of Royal Copenhagen
Fiskars Oyj Abp (Fiskars) announced that the acquisition of Royal Copenhagen, announced in December 2012, has been completed as planned and Royal Copenhagen has become a part of Fiskars’ Home business area. The acquisition enables Fiskars to consolidate a portfolio of Scandinavian design brands and strengthens Fiskars position further in Asia, where Royal Copenhagen ranks among the main brands selling dining products.
