YEN SUN TECHNOLOGY CORP announced that it has decided to transfer its Zhanghua plant and related business in its consumer electronics department to a wholly owned technology industrial subsidiary, effective August 31, 2013.

Janome Sewing Machine Co Ltd announced that it has decided to transfer 4,680,000 shares of its Janome (Thailand) Co., Ltd's stock, to Janome Taiwan Co., Ltd. for THB 248 million, on May 30, 2013. After this, the Company will hold a 5.9% stake in Janome (Thailand) Co., Ltd, down from 59.1%, and Janome Taiwan Co., Ltd. will hold a 59.1% stake in Janome (Thailand) Co., Ltd, up from 5.9%. Additionally, Janome Taiwan Co., Ltd. is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company.

Fiskars Oyj Abp announced that following the acquisition of Royal Copenhagen, Fiskars’ Home business is now able to consolidate a offering of Scandinavian dining brands, consisting of the regional brands Royal Copenhagen, Rorstrand (formerly a local brand) and Arabia. In the Garden business, the Danish garden tool brand Zinck-Lysbro’s offering will be integrated into the Fiskars offering and sold across Scandinavian markets. The offerings of the two local container gardening brands, Ebert and Sankey, have been combined and will be offered across EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Asia) under the new combined brand EbertSankey. Thanks to the new organization Fiskars is also able to expand the footprint of the French construction tool brand Leborgne to new markets outside France.

Husqvarna AB to Divide Sales and Service Europe & Asia/Pacific Business Unit into Two Units

Husqvarna AB announced that effective January 1, 2013, the Husqvarna Group has decided to divide the Sales and Service Europe & Asia/Pacific business unit into two new business units – Sales and Service Europe, and Sales and Service Asia/Pacific. Ms. Frida Norrbom Sams has been appointed Executive Vice President, Head of Sales and Service Europe, and will become new Member of Group Management. The change will enable further concentrated efforts in the European region while at the same time putting a stronger focus on the growing markets in the Asia/Pacific region. The change will not imply any changes in the external financial reporting, that is results will still be reported for the current business area Europe & Asia/Pacific.
