International Game Technology's GTECH Corporation signs contract to provide new lottery technology and ongoing services to the Minnesota State Lottery

International Game Technology PLC:Announced that its subsidiary GTECH Corporation has entered into a contract with the Minnesota State Lottery to provide new lottery technology.Expects to receive about $75 million to $80 million in revenues over the base 7.5 year contract period, which runs through Aug. 9, 2023.Under the terms of the contract, company will provide expandable technology, a flexible set of retail solutions, and data-driven, decision-making tools.

Scientific Games Corporation:Says Spirit Mountain Casino has selected the Company's Bally systems solutions for its property in Mohave Valley, Arizona.Spirit Mountain will replace a competitor's systems with the Bally SDS slot management system, which will be deployed across 250 slot machines to manage casino, slot, and hospitality data.SDS provides crucial game-monitoring data in real-time and fully integrates with other systems including the Bally CMP player-tracking system, which the casino also will utilize.Spirit Mountain Casino is a Las Vegas-style gaming facility located on the Fort Mojave Indian Reservation south of Laughlin, Nevada. The property features 250 slots and amenities including a snack bar and RV Park.

Gtech SpA announces a settlement with Illinois Lottery to terminate for convenience Northstar Lottery Group's Private Management Agreement

Gtech SpA:Says its subsidiary Northstar Lottery Group LLC (Northstar) entered into an agreement with the Illinois Department of Lottery (the Lottery) to terminate the private management agreement (PMA) for convenience.Says the PMA went into effect on Jan. 18, 2011 and is expected to terminate in around 12 months.Says under the termination agreement, the Lottery will pay a termination for convenience fee and disentanglement services fees to Northstar for a 12-month period.Says Northstar will receive a maximum of $12.65 million in termination for convenience fees.Says the Lottery will also pay Northstar for disentanglement services fees of about $121 million during the 12-month disentanglement period for the reimbursement of costs.Says the Lottery will also pay additional transition-related expenses up to $17 million due to the termination of the PMA.

Scientific Games Corp:Says that it has been awarded the contract by the New Zealand Lotteries Commission to provide instant games for Lotto New Zealand.Under the terms of the agreement, Scientific Games will work with Lotto New Zealand to grow sales of the Lottery's instant game portfolio.In addition to instant games, the company will provide Lotto New Zealand with marketing support and creative services.Seven-year contract began in Sept. 2014 and includes a one-year extension option.

Scientific Games Corp:Signs a new contract to continue as the exclusive provider of instant games and related services for the Tennessee Education Lottery Corporation.Under new agreement, Scientific Games will provide Lottery with an instant game portfolio as well as an integrated Cooperative Services Program (CSP).Includes instant game production, product management support, game management systems, warehousing and distribution, and a wide range of related services such as interactive content and marketing research.Contract will begin Jan. 01, 2015 with an initial term of seven years plus seven one-year extension options.
