Scenes from the uprising in Libya. Turkey's state-run Anatolia news agency releases new amateur video, obtained by a repatriated Turkish worker in Libya. The video, whose authenticity could not be confirmed by Reuters, shows a funeral of an anti-government protester in a town just 30 miles west of Tripoli. Other footage shows blood smeared floors with the wounded and the dead littering the floor of the room. Night shots purportedly captured in Tajura carry the sound of gunfire ringing in the background. The uprising, the biggest challenge to Muammar Gaddafi's rule in more than four decades, started as a series of protests inspired by popular revolts in neighboring Egypt and Tunisia. It was met by a fierce response. World leaders condemned Gaddafi's bloody crackdown on the week-long revolt that has split Libya, but did little to halt the bloodshed from the latest upheaval reshaping the Arab world.
