Republican Sarah Palin rolls into Washington, DC on the back of a Harley-Davidson, sparking renewed speculation about her 2012 presidential plans. The former vice presidential nominee joined tens of thousands in the annual Rolling Thunder motorcycle rally, which honors military veterans. Palin joined the riders in the Pentagon parking lot before heading to the rally on the Mall in downtown Washington, DC. Palin's participation in the rally was the kickoff of a campaign-style East Coast bus tour of historical sites that has focused attention on her presidential plans. SOUNDBITE: Unidentified woman, saying: "She should have been allowed to speak. There are people speaking just like her and we all believe in America as she does." SOUNDBITE: Unidentified woman, saying: "I don't think this event should be used as a political forum. It is to honor those that died, to honor those that are still there. I know that is what Sarah Palin is doing. It's just 'when I get to the White House. When I get to the White House." The former Alaska governor has made no announcements yet about her Presidential ambitions. Deborah Lutterbeck, Reuters
