FIFA President Sepp Blatter denies there is a crisis within soccer's world governing body. Boy was he mad. FIFA president Sepp Blatter held a 30 minute news conference Monday to answer questions about ongoing scandals within soccer's world governing body. And he did all he could to quash the perception that anything was wrong. (SOUNDBITE) (English) FIFA PRESIDENT SEPP BLATTER, SAYING: "Crisis, what is a crisis? If somebody of you will describe to me what it is a crisis then I would answer. Football is not in a crisis." Whatever you call it, FIFA is undeniably wrapped up in a mess. Two top executives, Mohammed bin Hammam, who had planned to run against Blatter for the presidency, and Jack Warner, are accused of offering bribes to other FIFA executives to get bin Hammam in office. Both Warner and bin Hammam have been suspended. Blatter is now running unopposed for his 14th year as FIFA president. Before storming out of the news conference, Blatter let reporters have it one last time. (SOUNDBITE) (English) FIFA PRESIDENT SEPP BLATTER, SAYING: "I would not go into discussions with people who like to create problems. I just to tell you one thing. (LOOKS TO ROOM) You can laugh, there is always an attitude. Elegance is also an attitude and respect is also an attitude. I think something, I have learned this in my life - also a life as a journalist. I am still a member of the AIPS (International Association of Sports Press) and when I was at a press conference and it was said; "It's finished", then I said: "Thank you." Separately, allegations are flying that Qatar paid bribes for being awarded the 20-22 World Cup. Blatter also denied any wrongdoing in that matter. Julie Noce, Reuters
