A triple bombing by suspected insurgents kills at least two people and wounds nine others in Thailand's deep south. At least four of those wounded were police who had rushed to the scene of the initial explosion to help the victims in the latest attacks in the restive Muslim-dominated region bordering Malaysia. The devices were buried at three different locations Ethnic Malay Muslims represent the majority of the population in these southern-most provinces of predominantly Buddhist Thailand. About 4,600 people have been killed and nearly 9,000 wounded in violence since 2004. Deborah Lutterbeck, Reuters.
