In a bid to push for education reforms, more than 2,000 Chilean students took part in a massive make-out session. The kissing scene was in stark contrast to violent clashes seen over the past several weeks. (SOUNDBITE) (Spanish) TECHNICAL STUDENT, KARINA ARAVENA, SAYING: "What is happening is young people are learning and realizing that the education here in Chile is bad. And I think it is a beautiful way to protest and it is better to see these young people, you know, us, protesting in such a simple way, with a kiss." In the last couple of weeks, Chile has seen a number of protests across the country demanding for a better education system. The students are calling for the government to work directly with them to solve discontent over education standards and costs. Sophia Soo, Reuters.
