"The Undefeated," the documentary that traces the rise to power of Sarah Palin, opened in ten theaters across the U.S. on Friday (July 15). In Orange County California, more than 50 people showed up for a matinee screening - while some later shows were already sold out early in the day. Reactions from movie-goers, like Palin supporter Robert Benson, were positive. (SOUNDBITE) Robert Benson saying (English): "I didn't realize how accomplished she was as governor of Alaska. I think I knew her from the presidential election forward, but never really looked backwards so much. This spends a lot of time talking about her as governor and how successful she was as a governor. I think that's probably the most interesting part of the film for me." "The Undefeated" follows Palin from mayor of tiny Wasilla, Alaska through the battle she waged to win election as the state's governor, and then charts her time as John McCain's 2008 Vice Presidential running mate. So far, however, Palin has refused to say if she will in fact challenge Barack Obama for the presidency in 2012. John Russell, Reuters.
