Sept. 1 - Gaddafi's former foreign minister, Abdelati Obeidi, is arrested in a Tripoli suburb. Travis Brecher reports.

Ousted Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi's foreign minister, Abdelati Obeidi, was arrested on Tuesday at his farm in a Tripoli suburb. Reuters stills from Wednesday show him being escorted by ruling National Transitional Council forces. Libya's interior minister responded to a reporter's question about whether Obeidi had been arrested. (SOUNDBITE) (Arabic) AHMED THRAT, INTERIOR MINISTER FOR NATIONAL TRANSITIONAL COUNCIL, SAYING: "This is normal, God willing all of Gaddafi's men and aides will be arrested." On June 19 Obeidi told reporters he held foreign leaders responsible for NATO strikes that killed many civilians. (SOUNDBITE) (English) FORMER LIBYAN FOREIGN MINISTER ABDELATI OBEIDI, SAYING: "We hold Prime Minister Cameron, President Sarkozy and President Obama, Prime Minister Berlusconi, legally and morally responsible for these and other crimes committed in the last three months in Libya against civilians." Gaddafi's entourage has been hit by numerous high-profile defections, arrests and killings since the uprising that his ended his 42-year rule. Travis Brecher, Reuters
