(ROUGH CUT -- NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: The World Trade Center in flames, victims covered in ash, city streets turned into a war zone. These photographs from the September 11, 2011 attacks are among the images permanently etched in the memories of Americans and hundreds of millions of people around the world. One photo shows rescue workers carrying a fatally injured New York City Fire Department Chaplain, The Rev. Mychal Judge, from the wreckage of the World Trade Center. The chaplain was crushed to death by falling debris while giving a man last rites. Another photo captures arguably the most iconic moment of George W. Bush's presidency. Bush, holding a megaphone amid the rubble that was once the World Trade Center, told emergency workers, "I can hear you. I can hear you. The rest of the world hears you, and the people--, and the people who knocked these buildings down, will hear all of us soon." Sunday, September 11, 2011 marks the 10-year anniversary of the attacks that killed nearly 3,000 people -- attacks that motivated the United States to enter two major wars, and changed security arrangements in airports, shipping ports and altered the course of history.
