Oct. 21 - After a video conference with Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, U.S. President Barack Obama told reporters the United States will fulfill its promise by pulling troops out of Iraq by year-end. Rough cut (no reporter narration).

ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: President Barack Obama on Friday said the United States will fulfill its promise by pulling troops out of Iraq by year-end. "As promised, the rest of our troops in Iraq will come home by the end of the year. After nearly nine years, America's war in Iraq will be over," Obama told reporters. He spoke after a video conference with Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki.
