Rough Cut (no reporter narration) STORY: Australian, Chinese and Japanese star gazers were fascinated by the most-anticipated lunar eclipse in ten years. The lunar eclipse is said to be the best to watch in a decade. A total lunar eclipse occurs when the full moon moves into the Earth's shadow. Although it does dim, the moon can still be seen as it is lit by the sunlight passing through the Earth's atmosphere. The next total lunar eclipse will occur in October 2014.
