Rwandan police believe only one grenade went off at a busy fruit and vegetable market in Kigali, but its effect was devastating. About 20 people have been wounded. Some have lost arms and legs. SOUNDBITE: Theos Badege, police spokesman, saying (English): "This evening there was a grenade which blasts (exploded) in this sector, Remera sector, Gasabo district, Nyabisindu Cell. It's just close to some places where people sell fruits and vegetables. The grenade blast, then it injured some 20 or around 18 people so we are here to confirm the exact number to different hospitals, mainly the close one, which is Kibagabaga hospital." Kigali suffered a series of grenade attacks in 2010 which the government blamed on two former top army officers now in exile. There were two other grenade attacks last year. Paul Chapman, Reuters
