Hollywood megastar Will Smith made a dramatic entrance at the 2012 International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
It appears that some of Sony's special effects may have backfired as the star made his way to greet Sony's CEO.
(UPSOUND: Will Smith, actor and lead of the "Men in Black" film series, saying (English):
"It was smoke and and it was a nice strong Sony strobe, the best in the world.")
Smith and "Men in Black" director Barry Sonnenfeld were there to promote the franchise's third installment, which is expected to show off the latest in 3D technology.
Also adding star power to the tech event was American Idol sensation Kelly Clarkson, who is also a Sony recording artist.
The stars were there for a special preview.
The 2012 Consumer Electronics Show officially kicks off on January 10th.
