Madonna will kick off her latest tour on May 29 in Tel Aviv, Israel. The tour will take the pop star throughout Europe as well as South America and Australia, where she has not performed for 20 years. The announcement comes just days after Madonna's halftime performance at the Super Bowl, which broke records with 114 million viewers.
Chris Brown will perform at this Sunday's Grammy Awards for the first time since beating his then girlfriend Rihanna on the eve of the music industry's biggest night in 2009. Rihanna is also set to perform at the event and is nominated for four awards -- rumors have flown that the pair may be secretly dating again. Brown has three nominations including best R&B singer for his album "F.A.M.E." The Grammy Awards will be handed out in Los Angeles on February 12.
Prince Charles celebrated the 200th birthday of Charles Dickens, a master storyteller of English social injustices on Tuesday (February 7). Britain's heir-to-the-throne visited Westminster Abbey to lay a wreath at the grave of the famous writer. The event marked the largest gathering of Dickens' descendants, with over 200 family members on hand.
Some of the world's biggest pop stars will perform in front of Buckingham Palace on June 4 to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee. Two knights will headline the event -- Sir Paul McCartney, and Sir Elton John. Concert organizers expect to announce more big names in the coming months. The event is a centerpiece in the queen's Diamond Jubilee celebrations, which have already kicked off to mark her 60 years on the throne.
