Sir Paul McCartney finally got his own star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame on Thursday (February 9), becoming the last of the four Beatles to get the honor. McCartney's star was placed outside the Capitol Records building, alongside those of band members John Lennon, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. The Beatles were given a star as a group in 1998, more than 25 years after they split up. Lennon and Harrison were given their individual stars several years after their deaths in 1980 and 2001 respectively, while Starr got his in 2010. Angelina Jolie met with Germany's Foreign Minister on Friday (February 10) on the sidelines of the 62nd Berlinale film festival. Jolie is in the German capital to present her debut directorial work 'In the Land of Blood and Honey.' The American actress and director, who is also a UN refugee agency (UNHCR) Goodwill Ambassador, will also receive an honorary award for her work as part of the 'Cinema for Peace' Gala. American TV audiences got a first listen to Adele, post surgery. She sang three verses, a cappella, of her hit song "Rolling In The Deep" in an excerpt of an upcoming "60 Minutes" interview on CBS. The British singer is due to make her official performance comeback at the Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 12) where she is expected to take home an armful of trophies following the worldwide success of her album "21". Adele was forced to cancel part of her U.S. tour last year because of persistent vocal problems. In November, she underwent laser surgery on her vocal cords and was ordered to take two months of vocal rest. A man who was convicted in 1996 of stalking and threatening pop star Madonna was apprehended on Friday, a week after escaping from a mental hospital, police said. The 54 year old Robert Dewey Hoskins was sentenced to 10 years behind bars in 1996 after being arrested for scaling a wall around the singer's home in the Hollywood Hills and threatening to slit her throat.
