Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum wins in Louisiana, bringing his primary total to 11. On Saturday the conservative former senator addressed crowds in Wisconsin. (SOUNDBITE) (English) U.S. PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE RICK SANTORUM "To the people of Louisiana, thank you very much. You have come through and come through in a big way and on behalf of my family and all the people up here who have gathered with us tonight here in Green Bay, Wisconsin, just let me thank you for making a very clear and crisp statement and that is we don't believe as the pundits have said that this race is over." Although he is still trailing frontrunner Mitt Romney by a wide margin, Santorum says he is ready to battle it out until the end, likening his crusade to former Republican President Ronald Reagan's run in the 70s. (SOUNDBITE) (English) U.S. PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE RICK SANTORUM "They were telling him to get out of the race. He was only hurting the party and he continued to run because this is something more than the party, it's about doing what's right for America, standing up for the principles that will heal this country." Reagan eventually lost the bid in 1976 only to win the nomination and presidency in 1980. Santorum, seen as "too conservative" by moderate Republicans, has done well in America's deep south, home to the nation's most conservative voters. Jessica Gray, Reuters
