Paul McCartney returned home to perform his only UK date on Thursday (March 29) for the Teenage Cancer Trust. The event which spans one week, features some of the biggest UK music and comedic acts. McCartney performed some of the Beatles' and his own biggest hits including "Magical Mystery Tour" and "All My Loving". McCartney's next tour will see him travel to South America, kicking off in Montevideo on April 15 and ending in Mexico City on May 8.
If you missed McCartney's show, there's still a chance to get your fix of Beatles tunes in the UK. A London musical will mark the 50th anniversary of the Beatles' debut single "Love Me Do", released in Britain in October 1962, after full theatrical rights to much of the Fab Four's back catalogue were granted to a West End production for the first time.
"Let It Be" will run from September 14 until January 19, 2013, and feature live performances.
Robbie Williams and his partner Ayda are expecting a baby, the British singer announced on his website on Friday (March 30). The 38 year old former member of Take That said the baby was expected later this year. Williams, best know for hits like "Angels" and "Let Me Entertain You", has won more BRIT awards -- Britain's top music prizes -- than any other act.
Jerry Lee Lewis has married for the 7th time. The 76 year old rock 'n' roll legend married Judith Brown, who was previously married to Lewis' cousin Rusty. Lewis and his sixth wife, Kerrie McCarver, were married for 20 years and had a child. They split in 2004.
