An emotional rally marking the two-month anniversary of the death of Trayvon Martin was held in Los Angeles Thursday night (April 26), where civil rights leaders and family members advocated the need for tolerance and justice. More than 900 people filled the West Los Angeles Church in Christ for the rally which was attended by Rev. Al Sharpton, Rev. Jesse Jackson and the parents of the slain 17-year-old Florida teen. SOUNDBITE Rev. Al Sharpton saying (English): "We don't have to agree on everything, but we must stand together for the preservation of life and the sanctity of our children. What kind of world are we living in, what kind of nation are we living in where we can put a black man in the White House, but can't walk a black teenager through a gated community in Sanford, Florida." Martin was shot and killed by George Zimmerman, the former neighborhood watch volunteer, who's been charged with second-degree murder in the February shooting death of Martin in a gated community in the central Florida town of Sanford.
