What should have been a pleasant Saturday visit to a bar in downtown St. Louis, Missouri, ended with at least one person dead.
Severe weather is being blamed for bringing down a large tent over part of the site.
A total of 100 others needed medical treatment for a range of injuries.
Five people are said to be in a critical condition.
The fire department helped ferry some of the injured to hospital.
