ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: Road maintenance workers on Sunday cleared a road using explosives after a landslide hits southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region, to make way for tourists and vehicles to evacuate, state media reported. China's CCTV said hundreds of stranded tourists and vehicles were evacuated from a highway linking the Tibetan regional capital of Lhasa to the Nepalese capital of Kathmandu. CCTV said soldiers were also deployed to clear paths and get tourists and vehicles out of the landslide-hit area. CCTV said that no casualties have been reported so far.
