ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)
STORY: Russian President Vladimir Putin played a game of ice-hockey on Monday, just hours after his inauguration ceremony in the Kremlin.
Putin skated out onto the ice in a gala match held on Monday evening. Wearing the team jersey of Russia's Amateur Hockey League (AHL) , Putin and his team played against the 'Legends of Russia' in Moscow's Megasport stadium.
Russian television channels showed excerpts of the match highlighting Putin's two decisive scores. His first goal helped AHL equalize and his second came as the match was decided by penalties and the new president flicked the puck into the back of the opposition goal.
In the audience were Putin's friends - former Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi and German ex-chancellor Gerhard Schroeder
