(ROUGH CUT ONLY - NO REPORTER NARRATION) Two Britons and one American were gored in the running of the bulls on Monday (July 9), the third day of the San Fermin festival in the northern Spanish town of Pamplona. Monday's bull run through the streets of Pamplona took three minutes and 32 seconds. In total seven people were injured, the regional government said. The fiesta of San Fermin, the patron saint of Pamplona, is one of Spain's most famous fiestas which attracts tens of thousands of revellers from across Spain, as well as foreign tourists. Celebration, wine and red scarves are the hallmarks of the week-long festival that ends on July 14th and tests the skill of dare-devil runners who practice throughout the year to take on bulls that weigh over 500 kilos. Inexperienced participants also take part. Each year over 200 runners are injured, mostly from falling. A small minority are less fortunate and are gored and trampled by the huge bulls. Fifteen people have been killed since records started being kept in 1924.
