Slash has received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame - honoring a career where he helped Guns N' Roses and Velvet Revolver sell more than 100 million albums. The guitarist's star is appropriately situated just outside of Hollywood's Hard Rock Cafe. Spike Lee is working on a documentary about Michael Jackson. The director says he considered Jackson a friend, but has learned a lot about the singer by searching through footage for the planned film. Lee's documentary is due out later this year and will be part of a flood of material to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Jackson's album, "Bad." Peter O'Toole is retiring from acting at age 79. The veteran actor - who was nominated for an Oscar 8 times - released a statement saying that "It is time for me to chuck in the sponge." O'Toole is best known for his role as T.E. Lawrence in "Lawrence of Arabia." Over his career he won a BAFTA Award, four Golden Globes, an Emmy, and received an honorary Oscar in 2003. Finally, Lamb of God frontman Randy Blythe is still jailed in the Czech Republic. The singer is facing charges of manslaughter in connection with the death of a fan in 2010 - Blythe allegedly pushed him off the stage and the man later died after hitting the concrete floor. The band's other members released a statement thanking fans for their support and promising to remain positive. Bob Mezan, Reuters.
