The first man ever to be sentenced by the Hague's International Criminal Court hears his punishment. Congolese warlord Thomas Lubanga Dyilo receives 14 years in prison. He was convicted in March of abducting boys and girls under the age of 15 and forcing them to fight in a war in the Democratic Republic of Congo. But the legal representative of the victims said questions remain about how they will be compensated. (SOUNDBITE) (French) LEGAL REPRESENTATIVE OF VICTIMS FRANCK MULENDA SAYING: "Yes naturally we're satisfied and we will be even more so when the question of compensation is resolved. As to the punishment, there's satisfaction there because there's a sort of public revenge, revenge of justice, because the victims couldn't have revenge on their own, if you know what I mean. Lubanga has already spent six years in detention, meaning his sentence will run eight more years. The 1999-2003 ethnic conflict he helped lead killed an estimated 60,000 people.
