Aug. 21 - Hitting the beaches of China's Shandong province is the ''facekini'' craze that protects its wearer from much disdained UV radiation. Elly Park reports.

Here's a way to avoid sunburns - wear a protective mask that totally covers up your head. The product dubbed "facekini" is China's latest beach craze, believed to provide its wearer full protection from UV radiation. While in the West a sun-kissed skin tone is desirable, there is nothing more fearful to a Chinese woman who takes pride in her porcelain look. The facekinis sell for about $3 US dollars, and comes in different colors. Let's just hope that the masks are used for solar protection purposes only…
